Prof. LI Weiwei
Prof. LI Weiwei is a Professor of Shenzhen University, Faculty of law. Executive director, Constitutionalism and Human Rights Law Center in law faculty, Council Member, Chinese Society of International Law. She gots B.A from Tsingtao Normal University in 1982, and LL.M, Chinese University of Law and Political Science in 1988, LL.M, University of New South Wales, Australia in 1999. 1988- 2003, she was Associate Professor and Director of International Law Section, Northwest University of Law and Politics, Xian;
2001.02—09 Research fellow in Norwegian Institute of Human Rights and Raul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law. 2004. 05—06 Researcher sponsored by Association for Canadian Study, the Education and Academic Relations Division of the Department of External Affairs Canada. She has many research projects and results in international Human Rights and Employment Discrimination.

 

Dr. Hong Zhang
Dr. Hong Zhang received her Ph. D. in Anthropology from Columbia University, and did her post-doctorate at Fairbank Center for East Asian Studies, Harvard University. Currently, Dr. Zhang is assistant professor of East Asian Studies at Colby College, USA. Her research interests include: changing family life and marriage patterns, intergenerational relations, gender, labor migration and labor relations, and comparative study on the impact of globalization on urbanization, industrialization, and modernization models between China and East Asian countries. She has published several book chapters by Stanford University Press, Routledge, and John Benjamins Publishing Company, and has numerous articles published or forthcoming in The China Journal ; Asian Anthropology ; The China Quarterly ; Journal of Contemporary China ; Cultural Survival Quarterly ; Signs: Journal of Women in Culture and Society; and Journal of Cross-Cultural Gerontology . She has recently been elected to be the co-chair for Chinese Society for Women's Studies (CSWS).

 

Ms. Bonnie Nixon Gardiner
Ms. Bonnie Nixon Gardiner is HP Global Program Manager
At HP, Bonnie is responsible for managing HP's leading supply chain program as it relates to human rights, labor, environmental, health, safety and ethical practices ; playing a leadership role in an effort with major competitors and suppliers on a common industry code of conduct and implementation tools including risk assessment, self assessment, auditing and reporting tool s; overseeing a worldwide audit program with 500 suppliers and providing ongoing audit training to 70 staff located in Mexico, South America, Eastern Europe, India, China and Southeast Asia.
Prior to joining HP, as Vice President of an Environmental Communications Firm, Bonnie Nixon Gardiner marketed and managed more than 200 public and private sector projects with business, government, community and non-governmental entities. Her 23 years of experience spans across several industries including technology, biotech, financial, infrastructure and utilities, food processing and transportation.
