Dr Dominique Muller
Dr Dom inique Muller is currently the Executive Director of the International Hong Kong Liaison Office of the International Confederation of trade Unions/Global Unions Federations and Hong Kong Confederation of Trade Unions (ICFTU/GUF/HKCTU/HKTUC – IHLO). The IHLO's mission is to provide specialized and timely advice and research for the ICFTU, global union federations and affiliates on labor rights issues in China, Hong Kong and Macau. It researches current social-economic trends in China and provides assistance to the Trade Union rights department of the ICFTU in preparing submissions to international organizations such as the ILO and the UN. Prior to this Dominique worked for a Hong Kong based Labour rights group and previously for the China research team of Amnesty International secretariat based in London ad Hong Kong. Academic studies include PhD and bachelor studies in Chinese criminal law and human rights. |

Mr Christopher NG
Mr Christopher NG is the Regional Secretary of the Asian and Pacific Regional Organisation of the world's newest trade union organisation, Union Network International (UNI).
Christopher NG started work as a bank clerk with a local bank in Singapore in 1973. He was elected as the branch secretary of the Singapore Bank Employees' Union in 1974 and a member of the Central Committee in 1975. He joined the Secretariat of the Asian and Pacific Regional Organisation of FIET - located in Singapore in 1976 as the Assistant to the Regional Secretary. He was elected the Regional Secretary of Apro FIET in 1986 and was re-elected to this position at subsequent Regional Conferences held once every four years in 1990, 1994 and 1999. He became the first Regional Secretary of the Asian and Pacific Regional Organisation of the new International – UNI Apro in January 2000 and was elected as the Regional Secretary at the 1 st . UNI Apro Regional Conference held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in June 2003. |

Ms J acylyn Shi
Ms J acylyn Shi is a Research Fellow with World Trade Institute ( www.wti.org ), a graduate school with a focus on international trade law and economics that is affiliated to the University of Berne in Switzerland. Her doctoral research focus is on the development effect of Multinationals' operation, and the linkage between Corporate Social Responsibility and international economic law. A trained professional in WTO law and international trade policy from Norman Paterson School of International Affairs in Canada, where she received her second Master's Degree, she is now based in Geneva working with Trade Negotiation and Commercial Diplomacy Branch of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development ( www.UNCTAD.org ). In 2005, she participated in launching an UNCTAD initiative on the “ Positive Corporate Contributions to the Economic and Social Development of Host Developing Countries ”. Ms. Shi received her first Master's Degree from Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade, with a focus on international business communication strategy. Ms. Shi spent five years promoting foreign corporations investing in China, gaining her expertise in Chinese foreign investment law through professional service at a number of agencies in China, including Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the Korean Consulate General and the State of Maryland Office in China. Jacylyn Shi was born in 1972 and she is a fluent communicator in Mandarin, English and French. |
