Sun Fuhai was at one time Worker's Daily's head reporter in Shenzhen. He has published a great many articles dealing with the living conditions of migrant workers in the Pearl River Delta. Between 1998 and 1999, he submitted three internal reports on workplace injury to the central government and successfully gained its serious attention, which represented a great contribution to the improvement of workplace safety. Sun Fuhai is the first Chinese journalist to have visited both North and South Poles. He has been a member of ICO's Board of Directors since March 2004. |
