The Shenzhen Statistics Bureau is a part of the Shenzhen government. In October 2001, ICO and the Sociology Department of the China Social Science Institute received public support from the Bureau's Census Office for a project that used data from the fifth Shenzhen census to analyze links between population convergence and economic development.
