Founded in 1868, UC Berkeley is the most historic and the most famous of the nine universities that comprise the University of California. Its student population exceeds 30,000, 8,500 of which are graduate students; this represents the largest graduate program in the United States. Berkeley is currently one of the world's leading universities.
In September of 2003, UC Berkeley and ICO collaboratively founded the Migrant Workers Community College, to provide education and development opportunities to migrant workers.
