Stella International is a global footwear company of Taiwan, set up in 1982. From 1991, it built seven factories and four footwear material factories in mainland China, with 70 thousands of employees.

In July 2004, getting information of ICO factory training project, CSR managers of Stella group hoped to keep corporation with ICO in factory training project. In August 2004, ICO and Stella started the workers and supervisors training project. The objects of this project are supervisors and workers. The project has moving to third stages : the first phase from September to November 2004; the second from April to June 2005, and the third phase from September to October 2005. The subjects of first phase are: supervisor's ability building, communication skills, reproductive health, occupational safety and health. The trained workers are very satisfied with training courses and mode. The second training is based on the former one, added course of “city living ability”. More than 8000 workers joined the training. The workers showed their studying interests, expressed their ideas confidently, and attended activities actively. The project is moving forward now.
